Meet our group of panellists who will be sharing inspiring ideas with the intention of sparking dialogue about issues that impact women in the workplace.


Jackie Dickinson

Executive Director, Whistler Community Services Society

Jackie Dickinson has been fortunate to work in a variety of roles at Whistler Community Services Society for over 14 years and currently is the Executive Director. She has acquired training in the areas of Mental Health First Aid and Critical Incident Debriefing as a frontline outreach worker and has developed programs and services to support new parents, young adults, families and the communities most vulnerable and at-risk. Jackie’s passion has developed into advocacy for community well-being, mental health, food security, and harm reduction initiatives.


Caroline Bagnall

At the helm of Connect Hospitality Strategies is Caroline Bagnall; Mountain Resort Hospitality & Tourism Expert and Adult Educator.

For every hospitality organization with a desire to be profitable and develop customers for life in a highly competitive marketplace, Connect Hospitality Strategies brings a customized approach to project management and workforce education to the table.

Bagnall offers business management expertise in the organization, planning and execution, and service of client events. Her widely-applauded communication skills, industry expertise and practical experience are augmented by professional certification in adult and ongoing education and facilitation skills.

Priyanka Lewis owns Brickworks Hospitality, Main Street Noodles & Pri Lewis Consulting. She is a mom and an entrepreneur and has been involved in the Whistler food and beverage industry for small businesses and entrepreneurship. Pri believes that everyone can forge their own path with business.


Veronica Smith

Senior Director IT, Hospitality & Retail, Vail Resorts

Veronica Smith is the Senior Director overseeing IT for Hospitality and Retail within the Vail Resorts ecosystem. She has a love for technology and its power to disrupt our world and make it better.

She is a genuine, connected and tenacious leader. Veronica balances business drive with people’s well-being and trust. She is a mentor, leadership coach and owns the Vail Resorts IT Mentorship program.

Liza has worked in luxury boutique hotels, four-season resort experiences and adventure sports & eco-tourism, operating in varied roles from Director of People & Culture to General Manager. She has a unique human-centred path to optimized business results, with an ability to work "in" and "on" the business, building and implementing the tactical practices, structures and systems for success.
