We received 41 applications from inspiring and ambitious Women of WORTH and we are pleased to announce Kelly-Marie Rampersad as the successful applicant.

Kelly-Marie is a culinary management graduate from Victoria Island University (VIU) and is currently enrolled at Vancouver Community College studying for her Bachelor’s in Hospitality. She also is enrolled at the prestigious Cordon Bleu in London to obtain her certificate in patisserie in 2022.

Kelly-Marie is a natural-born leader, she led a cooking club program at VIU teaching international students how to cook as well working within her network in her native Trinidad to share her knowledge and sending cookbooks and supplies to schools.

As I move forward on my journey, I choose to never forget my humble beginnings. It is my duty that I give back to the place that has shown me so much love and support. As I grow, my home shall grow too and so shall all the young aspiring women of my community.
